How to use it
- Check the pet: an ill pet moves slowly, sneezes now and then, and the pet screen shows a red Ill next to its hearts.
- Hold the kit and use it on the pet.
- An ill pet is cured, heals 4 hearts and cheers up. You get a message. A pet that's only hurt heals 4 hearts.
A pet that's fit and healthy doesn't use up the kit: you get a message that it's healthy instead.
When do you need one?
A pet left with an empty need (hunger, thirst, hygiene or energy at zero) for about 10 minutes in total may fall ill. It never dies of it, but it stays ill until you treat it: it won't play or do tricks, keeps losing mood, and doesn't gain loyalty. See Illness.
Illness can be switched off with "illness": false in the settings. The kit still heals hurt pets.
Tips
- Keep one or two in a chest by the pet corner.
- Patch up your dog after a fight: it heals 4 hearts at once.
