The slimeball can be swapped for a honeycomb.
How to wash a pet
- Get it wet. Use a water bucket on it (it stays wet for about 30 seconds), or let it stand in the rain or swim (it stays wet for about 10 seconds after).
- Use the soap on it while it's still wet. Bubbles pop and its hygiene goes to full.
On a dry pet the soap isn't used, and you get a message that it needs to be wet first.
The water bucket rinse
Using a water bucket on your pet rinses it:
Hygiene +25% and it's wet. You get an empty bucket back. A dog shakes itself off afterwards, head to tail.
Cats and ocelots hate it:
Mood −15%, and a cat hisses at you. The soap afterwards costs them a little more mood, so brush them instead when you can.
An axolotl goes into the bucket instead, as in vanilla. It lives in water, so it's usually wet anyway.
Who likes a bath
Every pet can be washed. Only these two dislike it:
Tips
- Wait for rain and wash everyone at once.
- Keep your dog by a pond: a swim makes it wet, so you can soap it straight away.
