Pet Brush
Groom your pet to keep it clean and happy. For horses, llamas, camels and nautiluses it's the way to bond, since sneaking with an empty hand opens their inventory.

How to use it
- Hold the brush and use it on your pet.
- Puffs of fluff fly off and the pet shows it's happy. Each brush stroke uses one of the brush's 128 uses.
- Brush again after a moment (about 1.5 seconds); clicks in between do nothing and cost nothing.
Brushing a sheep sometimes (1 in 8) shakes loose a piece of string.
Brush, don't pet
Sneak + empty hand pets most animals. On these it opens their inventory as in vanilla, so brush them instead:
Tips
- Hygiene drains slowly (about 90 minutes from full to empty), so a few strokes now and then is plenty.
- For a full clean, wash the pet with Pet Soap instead.
- Brushing counts as hands-on care. Only one kind of care counts for loyalty every 40 seconds or so, so mix it up with petting, feeding and play.
