Pee Pad
An indoor toilet for dogs. A pad soaks up 3 uses, then you put down a fresh one.
| ID | vanillapets:pee_pad |

| Stack size | 64 |
| How to get it | Crafting: three paper over three wool make 4 |
| Fastest tool | Any; it breaks at once by hand |
| Drops | Itself, but only while it's unused. A used pad is thrown away. |
| Holds | 3 uses |
| Placing | On top of a solid block. It pops off if that block goes, and pistons pop it off too. Burns like wool. |
Recipe
How dogs use it
When a dog's
Bladder passes 80%, it looks, in this order, for:
- a Pee Pad within 16 blocks that isn't used up;
- a patch of grass, dirt, moss, mud or sand under open sky within 10 blocks;
- the nearest door, where it sits and whines to be let out.
On the pad its bladder empties, and the pad gets more stained with each use. After 3 uses it's done.

Replacing it
- Right-click the pad with an empty hand to see how used it is: Pee pad: used 3/3.
- Break the used pad. It's thrown away.
- Put down a fresh one.
Who uses it
Only dogs. Cats, ocelots and foxes use a Litter Box instead.

Litter Box
Cats, ocelots and foxes step in to use it. Clean with a shovel, refill with Cat Litter or sand.
Pet Mess
Left by a pet that couldn't hold it. Break it to clean it up.
Tips
- A daily walk on a lead empties your dog's bladder, so it hardly needs a pad at all.
- A dog with a garden behind an open door never needs a pad.
- One craft makes 4 pads: keep the spares in a chest by the door.
