| How to get it | You don't: pets leave it. There's no item, and it isn't in the creative tab. |
| Tool | None needed: it breaks at once |
| Drops | A Bag of Pet Waste. A puddle drops nothing. |
| Kinds | A small pile, or a puddle |
Where it comes from
- An accident: a cat, ocelot, dog or fox whose bladder is full and that found no clean litter box, pee pad or way outside goes on the floor. That leaves a pile or a puddle, lowers its
Hygiene and
Mood, and you get a message. - Outside: a dog or fox that does its business on grass or dirt, on a walk or out in the garden, sometimes leaves a pile to scoop up.
Accidents can be switched off with "accidents": false in the settings.
Cleaning it up
- A pile stays until you break it. It gives off a little smell now and then. Breaking it gives you a Bag of Pet Waste.
- A puddle dries up on its own after a while. You can break it straight away too.
Placing a block on a mess replaces it, like tall grass. It pops off if the block under it goes.
What it does to pets
A pet standing in a mess gets dirtier:
Hygiene −3% every second. Brush it or wash it with Pet Soap afterwards.

Litter Box
Cats, ocelots and foxes step in to use it. Clean with a shovel, refill with Cat Litter or sand.
Pee Pad
Dogs use it indoors. Soaks up 3 uses, then break it and put down a fresh one.
Bag of Pet Waste
Smelly, but works as fertilizer.
Tips
- Messes on the floor mean the litter box is full or empty, or the dog can't get out. Check those first.
- See Toilet for where each pet goes.
