Pet Bed
A soft bed for small pets. Cats, ocelots, dogs, foxes and rabbits curl up in the nearest one when they're tired.

Recipe
The plain bed has a carpet in the middle of the wool row. With three wool of one colour it comes out in that colour. Any bed (plain or already dyed) plus a dye gives that colour; the examples show blue. Every colour works the same.
How pets use it
- A pet on Idle gets sleepy when its
Energy drops below 15%, or below 60% once it's dark. - It goes to its Rest Spot if you set one. Otherwise it goes to the nearest pet bed within 16 blocks.
- It settles in: a dog or fox turns round once on the spot, a cat kneads the bed (purring) first.
- It sleeps until its energy is full, it gets hurt, or you give it an order.
A pet on Follow naps where it stands, unless there's a bed within 8 blocks and you're close by; then it curls up in that. When you sleep in your own bed, a pet on Follow within 16 blocks lies down near you, in a pet bed close by if there is one.
No bed in reach? It tries a random spot nearby, and if that fails too it naps where it stands.
Who uses it
Cats and ocelots often skip the bed and nap on top of a Cat Tree instead (about half the time). Parrots roost on a Bird Perch. Every other animal lies down where it is; give it a Rest Spot to choose where.

Tips
- To give each dog its own bed, set each one's Rest Spot on its bed with the whistle.
- Setting a Rest Spot while a pet is Idle also moves its home there.
