Eating & drinking

Like cats and dogs, a pet fox only uses bowls or your hand, never ponds or grass.

Any kibble or a hay bale fills a Food Bowl (4 servings); any other food adds one serving. A water bucket fills a Water Bowl, a water bottle adds two servings.

Toilet

Pet foxes are often litter trained. When its bladder passes 80% a fox looks for:

  1. a Litter Box within 16 blocks, and covers up afterwards like a cat;
  2. otherwise grass, dirt, moss, mud or sand under open sky within 10 blocks, and scratches the ground afterwards;
  3. otherwise the nearest door, where it sits and sniffs until you let it out.

Foxes don't use pee pads. If nothing works, it has an accident.

Walks

Like a dog, a fox enjoys a walk on a lead: its mood goes up, and on grass, dirt or sand it stops to do its business.
