Mooshroom
Mooshrooms live exactly like cows: they eat from a feed trough or graze, drink from a trough or a pond, and lie down to sleep.

- Troughs or grass

| Becomes a pet | Use a Pet Collar on it. |
|---|---|
| Needs | |
| Eats | From a Feed Trough; without one it grazes on grass (within 10 blocks). Never from pet bowls. |
| Drinks | From a Water Trough; without one, from a pond, river or lake (within 10 blocks). |
| Favourite kibble | None |
| Hand-feed with | Wheat, or Pet Kibble |
| Toilet | None: only cats, ocelots, dogs and foxes have a bladder need. |
| Sleeps | Lies down where it is (or on its Rest Spot). It doesn't use pet beds. |
| Plays | Chases a thrown Pet Ball and noses it around. |
| Can sit | No: on Stay it just stands still. |
| Petting | Sneak + use with an empty hand. It lifts its chin into your hand and turns its head. |
Eating & drinking
It eats wheat from the trough (or any other farm animal food), and puts its head down over the rim to nibble, like a cow.
A hay bale fills a Feed Trough (6 servings); its usual food, apples, or other farm animal food adds one serving each. Kibble doesn't go in troughs.
Sleeping
When it gets tired (or at night, if it's Idle) it lies down right where it is: front legs first, then the hindquarters. It gets up rear end first.
Milk, stew and shearing
Milking, mushroom stew and shearing all work as in vanilla. Shear a pet mooshroom and the cow it turns into is still your pet, with the same needs, order, home and loyalty.
Tips
- Leave it on Idle on its mushroom island with a feed trough and a water trough.
- One trough per few animals is plenty: troughs hold 6 servings.
