Where cats go. Cats, ocelots and foxes step in to use it, and you scoop it out with a shovel.

How pets use it
- When a cat's
Bladder passes 80%, it looks for the nearest litter box within 16 blocks that has litter in it and isn't full. - It steps over the rim, squats on the litter, then scratches litter over it before hopping out.
- Its bladder is empty, and the box has one more use of waste in it.
A fox tries the litter box first and goes outside if there's none. A cat or ocelot with no usable box has an accident on the floor once its bladder is full, and leaves a Pet Mess.
Cleaning and refilling
- Check it: right-click it with an empty hand, for example Litter: 2/3 · Waste: 3/3.
- Clean it: use any shovel on it. All the waste comes out as Bags of Pet Waste (one per use). The shovel loses one use, and the box loses one layer of litter.
- Refill it: use Cat Litter or plain sand on it. The litter goes back up to 3 layers. Coloured litter colours the box.
The box can't be used when it has 3 uses of waste in it, or when it has no litter left.
A comparator next to the box gives a signal by how much waste is in it: 0, 5, 10 or 15.
Who uses it
Dogs never use litter boxes: give them a Pee Pad or a garden.
